Derick provides useful informative in depth analysis on Twitter ads combined with Josh’s sublime text tips. Derick expresses frustration in being involved in several projects, but somehow feeling lack of productivity in the right areas of his entrepreneurial marketing strategies. Add this to another station Episode 6 Income Tax Panic Mode (148.89MB; download) -- The EntreProgrammers Episode 6 Income Tax Panic Mode The EntreProgrammers John, Derick and Josh get into it with resolutions for Derick’s income tax panic mode. What are some solutions to taxes in the efforts of entrepreneurial financial management? Derick bares it all to help others who are experiencing the same “tax man” nightmare. John’s argument shows that real estate is the best investment compared to trading stocks; then, Josh expresses concern about the true lifetime value of the digital products that they are producing, especially if the economy takes a down turn. Derick quickly argues from his experience that digital products are valuable when the economy indicates recession. How consistent is digital value? Derick argues based on his fourteen years as a consultant that in an economic down turn the demand for consultants consistently rises. This indicator shows that it is profitable to have digital availability. The focus of the discussion quickly turns when John’s asks, “You guys want the numbers?” How many did John sell? John credits the sending of his emails resulting in consistent sales. The discussion goes to global traffic and how it measures up in the conversion equation. Add this to another station Episode 7 Mentally Kickin’ My… (113.42MB; download) -- The EntreProgrammers Episode 7 Mentally Kickin’ My… Josh has a rough week and bares it all. Derick’s Twitter ads go south; they were generating traffic but no conversions; he admits forgetting to install conversion tracking. John shows how important its use can be in providing useful marketing information; then, John bares all. Here’s a marketing tip for you: It’s essential that audiences see you, your image or logo repeatedly over time. Generally, a person doesn’t make a purchase until having seen that product for the seventh time. Derick tells just how technical and precise is today’s tracking systems – yes, you are being followed quite closely by at least corporate America, spending millions getting to know your behavior, then bait you. So, what should you expect and how should you deal with what appears to be moments of despair experienced on a regular basis in the entrepreneurial arena - the natural law of things? The EntreProgrammers get into a discussion that reveals several inadequacies that they have encountered in their efforts of email marketing – quite frustrating from time to time – and so it goes, the infinite search for solutions. And how would you like to increase your daily productivity; Josh, Derick and John tell you a way to do just that and all 3 of them are using the same system to increase doing that which really matters. Then we switch to John’s update and get a deeper insight to his successful marketing strategies. The EntreProgrammers reveal obsession for the entrepreneurial arena – so, to keep the human experience healthy, just take a break from the arena of obsession. And what about all of those ideas that I’ve been having; Derick will sum it up for you. The EntreProgrammers advise you on how to deal with thought continuum. Derick summed it up this way: “You’ve got to scratch that itch!” John explains some of the natural laws of promoting your service or product. Don’t allow yourself to get stressed over a dip in your marketing efforts. Give your podcast a nice home at Signalleaf.com.

Add this to another station Episode 8 Love My Headphones (106.81MB; download) -- The EntreProgrammers Episode 8 Love My Headphones Josh, Derick and John start with good headphones, bad headphones. The discussion goes to subscribers and John shows how unpredictable an audience can really be – even a long-time loyal fan base can trick you into making wrong predictions in marketing behavior. Auto-responder techniques are extremely high on the Entreprogrammers things-to-do list; John discusses with Josh and Derick how to fine-tune and establish the right sequence of auto-responder emails. This will yield the high rate of conversions that a marketing entrepreneur is looking for in her/his advertising campaigns. To hit the wrong groups in your listening audiences with the wrong or redundant messages could result in “turning-off” the switch that makes them read and purchase your material. Blogging, in comparison, finds John more into editorial writing while Josh and Derick focus on the technical side of writing. Josh says that he would like to write more about marketing in his blog, however he is quick to point out that this thinking runs into a dilemma with what’s found to receive the highest nod in Google rating - the “how to” blog. Josh continues by saying that you practically need to be an expert in your field of writing to pull this high rating for the information that you are providing. So, what is an entrepreneur to do? This ending could not have been a better promotion for Podcast Recorder (soon to be at Signalleaf.com), even if it had been written and rehearsed. As the Entreprogrammers Team is discussing that they will be offering high quality podcast recording at Signalleaf.com, their show starts cutting out in both the audio and video. Please accept our apologies as we are experiencing extreme technical difficulties – and Josh is quick to theorize that this outage is the result of envious Google conspiracy. The Team, laughing about the whole situation, is forced into a quick sign-off. Give your podcast a nice home at Signalleaf.com

Add this to another station Episode 9 The Weekly Editor (108.74MB; download) -- The EntreProgrammers Episode 9 The Weekly Editor The EntreProgrammers Josh, Derick and John start by ripping into the iPhone; good phones, bad phones. This entrepreneurial discussion grants new perspective on the good, the bad and the ugly iPhones. Derick goes into drama mode, not feeling well all week long, but perks-up to report good news about his relentless efforts in the fiercely competitive marketing tactics so commonly found in the arena of entrepreneurs. Example of The EntreProgrammers “never-say-die” attitude towards finding resolutions to serious problems that often lurk quietly in the shadows of capitalistic darkness is true testament that these 3 guys know what it takes to survive. Always ready to do battle in the sometimes fluctuating unpredictable marketing behavior found so often in the public relations programming entrepreneurial arena – a place where a programmer is forced to sometimes deal with the absence of ethics and morals. The EntreProgrammers just hired The Weekly Editor for this podcast – what’s that? John knows that the new editor is watching and takes the opportunity to “baptize” him with insults – welcome to The EntreProgrammers podcast, David. The focus goes to Josh and a rather awkward situation that he is in with a buyer of one of his books – a buyer who doesn’t appreciate the information and research that Josh produced in the form of a book. Josh is not one to back down from an un-synchronized situation and through this experience he shows viewers and listeners that when “something is rotten in the state of Denmark” then what you have to do is reprogram the negative and make it smell like roses. This is the story of how Josh takes 1 negative and programs it into 2 positives that actually boost him forward in his public relations efforts in marketing strategies designed for programmers. Add this to another station Episode 10 The Arena of Quack (134.36MB; download) -- The EntreProgrammers Episode 10 The Arena of Quack The reality of it is, being a good entrepreneur can also mean being healthy – good things come from good health. The EntreProgrammers, always transparent in this podcast, reveal some of their health issues in a heated debate on medical and chiropractic quackery. John, Josh and Derick take a look at elements that we all face in life – doctors, chiropractors and dentists. This academic argument between the 3 of them reveals approaches and perspectives to the use of medicine, doctors, dentists and chiropractic procedures. John’s obsession for medical research is constructively criticized by Derick and Josh; they question John’s behavior. Then, The EntreProgrammers compare their findings in health care to the practices found in the profession of programmers. Their discussion segues into questioning the productive value of answering emails and what they ultimately produce. Sincere application of emails become extremely powerful in the efforts of an entrepreneur, although time consuming; The EntreProgrammers tell us why the written word can produce a huge effect in the public relations arena. Derick expresses the realization that thoughtful timely effort when answering emails will eventually develop and produce close long lasting relationships with the audiences that they have acquired. Suddenly, playful noises originate from John’s microphone; The EntreProgrammers attempt to keep straight faces, ignoring the outbursts, but it eventually gets the best of them. Well, in the spirit of great parenting, John suddenly disappears from the show’s discussion to take care of his most important focus, that of his child. There seems to be a little person having some fun in the background. Another great lesson for the stay at home entrepreneur dealing with a little person who wants to steal the show. Josh and Derick have a good laugh, and then Josh tells a hilarious story of what happens when on the phone with a client as he’s walking among the toys of his little boy – hello duck, surprise daddy!! The little persons are found everywhere in the efforts of the stay-at-home EntreProgrammers. Derick tells about a runaway naked baby running across the screen – quickly followed by Mom – in one of his broadcasts with a client in a consultation conference.
