Add this to another station Open Lines, Sunday, 6-25-17 (24.27MB; download) -- Welcome to our nearly two hour Open Lines program in two segments. I started our program as usual and put forth some news and suggested topics. I also went over the week's schedule as I will be attending the NewSpace Conference in San Francisco so a few shows will be missing from our regular schedule. Our first caller was from John talking about comments made on Thursday by Ms. Shotwell of SpaceX regarding the Falcon 9 first and second stage costs. We also talked about one of the news items I read from the UK Sun about a NASA scientist stating that some sort of ET life would soon be announced due to the continued discovery of exoplanets in the habitable zone. Kim was our next caller to talk some more about SpaceX and the two launches from this weekend, Friday at the Cape and today at Vandenberg AFB. In the second segment, we reported on the successful launch, Marshal called about reusability and GPS differential tracking. Adrian sent in an email about the story on NASA and ET Life. I then announced a Space Show award but you will have to listen to the show to hear about it. Other topics made it to the air before we ended the program.
