Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.” Daniel 10: 12-14

The King offered Daniel prestige and recognition if he would interpret the writing.
Surely this would be a fitting reward for such a task. Daniel was not interested in
the the offer of prestige but simply wanted to do God’s will and speak truth.
